Some of you will be completely new to my world and some of you will be know me from years gone by.

I started Guild of Dads back in 2020 as a podcast and online mens community alongside my day job in engineering. In the past 10 years I’ve led men and dads communities in the US and UK, along with 1-1 mens coaching.

All this had to go on the back burner in the last couple of years as I had to priortise other areas of life at the end of 2023.

Which left me in a quandary.

On the one hand I didn’t want Guild of Dads to stop completely because of the value it gave, but on the other hand I needed a break from it.

The podcast which has been valuable to many remained up, as did my social media accounts but in the main I took a breather.

I also started a monthly in person hike for dads called the Guild of Dads Hike, the experience of which I’ll write about on here in the next few months.

As time went on I took Guild of Dads entirely off of social media apart from a small presence on Facebook mainly for the hike. Minimising and eliminating exposure to social media in my life has been transformational and it’s something I will explore further in my writing.

So as I write this at the end of 2025 my intention is to reset Guild of Dads, and my priority is to provide information, resources and insights that you can take away and use on your own journey.

What do I talk about? Self Development, Male Psychology, Relationships, Self Care, Evolutionary Biology, AuDHD, Triumph Over Adversity and a host of other subjects which I find interesting. My interests change over time and so should yours!

I mainly focus on subjects that are relevant to men and dads, but my goal is always to empower men through information that they can apply to their own lives.

Whilst I’m happy for you to share what I do on social media, I won’t be returning to it any time soon with the only exception being the hike which gets the occasional promote courtesy of Facebook.

I’ve got a ton of stuff to write about since pausing Guild of Dads for a while so expect to hear more about this in the next little while.
